ARTIST STATEMENT
Stones, described as solid and hard matter, are divided into two categories: precious and non-precious. There are beliefs and customs related to stones that hold an important place among world cultures, extending from the most primitive societies to the most advanced ones throughout history; such as worship, magic, talismans, good luck, fertility, medicine, oaths, gender determination, and rainmaking.
While many of its properties, such as rainmaking and magic, are mentioned, it is also noted that some rocks are petrified humans. Here, petrified rocks are examples of the petrification motif in legends.
Humans strive to establish harmonious relationships with nature, other selves, and God in a free manner, by grasping their own possibilities and limitations. They are in a state of transformation, rebuilding their own universe by activating the internal impulse to create order within their given conditions, moving from one concrete situation to another.
His confrontation and challenge with the universe is a personal stance that maintains his internal consistency. He exists as an object with all these possibilities. He exists with the feeling of organizing perceptual components in every position where he enters into rigid analyses and is purely present with his senses with the feeling of organizing.
Spatial awareness is formed by the combination of objective and subjective elements. This formation creates the existential cycle with its own logic. It establishes a common language with its surroundings. This language brings with it the rule of harmony it provides with its own environment.
This set of rules involves being within the living space and bringing its own understanding of structure. Being enveloped by space reveals the imaginary human image and the concept of the body.
