ARTIST STATEMENT

The interaction of my self with nature is at the core of my work. I describe my paintings as a journey into the unknown. On the other hand, this journey creates a strong connection between mind and nature. These depictions formed during my mental process express my spiritual anxieties and sense of belonging. The depictions of nature, which I treat as a metaphor, are the transfer of visual expression forms that arise in my memory regarding the unknown, with their voids and sharp areas.
